Sharing a reminder that the deadline for all senior living providers to opt-in to HHS’ Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program for vaccine management is 11:59pm ET today, Friday, November 6.

This program is intended to help long-term care communities, at no cost, with complete vaccination management through a retail pharmacy partnership with CVS and Walgreens. We are encouraging all senior living providers (assisted living, independent living, memory care, and continuing care) to register for the HHS’ Pharmacy Partnership for Long-Term Care Program, and to ensure you adequately account for all residents, staff, volunteers, and vendors in providing census counts. Of Argentum members recently surveyed, 2 out of 3 providers indicated that opting into this program is their first preference for resident vaccine management, while more than 3 out of 4 indicated it was their preference for employee vaccine management.
