Murray (D-WA) and Schumer (D-NY) and Rep. Scott (D-VA) have [reintroduced](https://edlabor.house.gov/media/press-releases/top-democrats-introduce-bill-to-protect-workers-right-to-organize-and-make-our-economy-work-for-everyone) the [Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act](https://myprivateballot.com/issues/pro-act/). The members released [text of the bill](https://edlabor.house.gov/imo/media/doc/PRO%20Act%20Bill%20Text.pdf), a [section-by-section analysis](https://edlabor.house.gov/imo/media/doc/2021-02-04%20PRO%20Act%20of%202021%20Section%20by%20Section.pdf), and a [fact sheet](https://edlabor.house.gov/imo/media/doc/2021-02-04%20PRO%20Act%20of%202021%20Fact%20Sheet.pdf). The bill has 194 co-sponsors, including two Republicans – Reps. Smith (NJ-4) and Fitzpatrick (PA-1). Last February, the House voted 224-194 to pass this legislation as [H.R. 2474](https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/2474), but it did not advance in the Senate. Argentum opposes the PRO Act legislation and we are working with our coalition/industry partners to inform lawmakers of our concerns regarding this bill.
