The newly sworn-in 118th Congress is in the process of organizing the committees and preparing its agenda for the next two years. Argentum is looking to build upon the numerous legislative priorities we were able to secure into the end-of-year omnibus package recently signed into law, and renew our efforts on priorities like a revamped SENIOR Act and the Expanding Veterans’ Options for Long Term Care Act.
Argentum is also preparing to welcome seven new senators and more than six dozen new House members, and introduce them to the value of senior living. A key part of this is to personally meet with lawmakers and their staff as part of the upcoming Public Policy Institute, this March 6-8 in Washington, D.C.
