Argentum’s five-week campaign to “Release the PRF” continues with this week’s theme, “Activating the Grassroots.” Earlier today, Argentum sent a letter to President Biden, HHS Secretary Becerra, and HHS Deputy Secretary Palm on the urgent need to release the phase 4 provider relief funds to assisted living providers. The letter follows the Senate sign-on letter that ultimately garnered the support of 49 senators, along with the joint letter that kicked off the campaign, where Argentum was joined by AHCA/NCAL, ASHA, and LeadingAge urging the release of funds to all long-term care providers.
CALL TO ACTION: Record and share a short video. As part of this week’s activities, we encourage senior living providers and advocates to record a short video (15-30 seconds) of yourself sharing “on the ground” insights of what senior residents and caregivers have overcome during the past eighteen months, and why relief is critically needed. We will then share these stories on our social media channels and package them together for the White House and HHS. We will continue this through the week of Labor Day, combining direct outreach to the administration, grassroots engagement, strategic media placements, and Congressional support to encourage the Biden administration to release remaining provider relief funds as soon as possible.
